After months of working on my other business I have finally made some time to sit down at the bench and get creative.  Here's my latest creation and I'm really pleased with it.  I've learned that the gold leaf must be on the inside, protected from wear and tear.  It's really too fragile to be on the outside surface of a piece.

Celebration of Craftswomen

Sarah Boo Designs will be exhibiting this weekend, November 9-11, at The Celebration of Craftswomen.  The event is held at the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason in San Francisco.   This is the 35th year this Craft show has been held to benefit the Women's Bldg.  Come support women and be sure to come say hi to me at Booth #222.   www.celebrationofcraftswomen.org

My New Blog

Today I'm starting my blog over.  Three or four years ago I started a blog because that's when I started my website and I thought you had to have a blog if you had a website.  But I really wasn't interested in making any new entries.  Now I'm really inspired to start blogging.  I have lots of things I'm interested in sharing with the world.  It's like a public journal.  I'll try to keep it clean :).
